Academic Audit

The Department of Collegiate Education has launched Academic & Administrative Audit (AAA) as a quality enhancement initiative with an objective to improve functional efficiency of colleges and to promote accountability among the teaching staff. Academic Audit refers to the process of verification of records so as to assess the conduct of academic activities at Colleges. The academic Audit shall be conducted in a transparent and objective manner by the team of trained Principals/ Senior Lecturers (Academic Advisers). The Academic Audit was appreciated by the RUSA, GOI as a best practice. The visiting team of Academic Advisers may inspect of all Colleges with respect to curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities and they will observe the gaps in conduct of activities and offer suggestions to bridge them. The NAAC monitoring wing of the Academic Cell of APCCE planned to strengthen the assessment and Accreditation process.
